The stairs need serious updates!!! Odd furniture placement in many units. The tiling in bathrooms was sticky and slippery. Quiet enjoyment was disrupted by very thin walls!!!

Right opposite the lakefront, this place is a right winner! Loved the spa bath in our room, proper warm and cosy. The only hiccup was the tight parking, had to wiggle a bit. Still, a solid spot for a family shindig!

Absolutely loved the view from the lake, but couldn’t believe how creaky the floors were! I expected a complimentary gesture or at least an extra tea bag for paying so much. the pool area lack of seating was a massive disappointment. I'd almost praised them but just couldn’t, it was too much to overlook.

i loved our stay at le chalet suisse. the family two-bedroom apartment was clean and comfortable with most essentials, and the location was perfect for exploring taupo. we really enjoyed the views of lake taupō and how close it was to the town.
the parking was quite tight.

This place was just an excellent fit for a weekend break in Taupo with excellent value for money. The shower was great and having both an upstairs and downstairs bathroom helped a lot, especially when needed in the night. Consider bringing your own air conditioning fan if you are staying during warm weather.

Spacious room, clean bathroom, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen that made our family stay easy and enjoyable, alongside great views of the lake and convenient access to excellent restaurants and attractions just a short walk away.

The units are spacious and have an excellent view of the lake. Location is perfect, not too close to the restaurant area but still convenient. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The units are a bit old and could benefit from some updates.
